Furthermore, the Primary Care Forum is an important SHBC Satellite Conference that focuses on prevalent healthcare matters. Emerging as a constant hot topic, Population Health 2016 returns as a critical platform for major stakeholders to discuss the future of population well-being. The inaugural Women’s Wellness Track was introduced last year and was a massive hit with our female delegates.

The comprehensive programme lineup includes other key clinical tracks such as Dermatology, Nursing, Trauma as well as Research. Finalists will present their groundbreaking concepts at SHBC 2016.

Also making its debut is The Health Innovation Technology (HIT) Challenge, a nationwide contest for healthcare professionals to submit competition entries that identify real healthcare problems and present solutions that are innovative, engaging and sustainable, contributing to the Smart Nations Initiative in Singapore. We have also identified Medical Technology and the Metabolic Track as upcoming concerns in the modern society and will make their long-awaited debut this year at SHBC. In line with the theme, the Organising Committee has handpicked prominent local and overseas speakers specially selected for their expertise in the Education, Population Health and Mental Health Tracks. Coupled with building long-term relationships with stakeholders the very people who make up any healthcare system, this is the future of healthcare direction that both NHG and SHBC are striving towards. This year’s theme, “Forging a Sustainable Relationship-Based Healthcare System” was carefully put together for the sole purpose of emphasising the importance of sustainability.
